CardClan Adds Flexible Card Formats and RSVP Invitations | Robert Braxton
CardClan now offers single-page, front-and-back and folded cards, plus invitation cards with personal RSVP links, calendar additions and a response dashboard.
CardClan has added more ways to shape a digital card and use it as an event invitation. You can choose a one-page design, a two-sided postcard-style card or a folded card, then collect event responses with an invitation. Choose the format that fits Single page: one flat card that rises from the envelope and settles face up. Front & back: a two-sided card that recipients can flip over. Folded: a greeting-card format with four or more pages. Cards created before the format options were introduced remain folded and keep their existing appearance. Choose a format in the card editor’s Format & event tool. Single-page and front-and-back cards have fixed page limits; extra pages must be removed before switching a card to a format with fewer pages. Turn a card into an invitation Any card format can be an invitation. Turn on This card is an invitation , then add the event title, start time, timezone and either an in-person address or an online meeting link. An end time and a note from the host are optional. If enabled, each recipient can bring up to 10 additional guests. Recipients can respond Going , Maybe or Can’t go . They can add the event to Google Calendar or download a calendar file for Apple Calendar or Outlook. Review responses Responses appear in the card’s RSVPs tab, with counts, filters and a CSV export for the guest list. Each recipient responds through their own personal invitation link, so another person cannot submit a response on their behalf. Recipients can revisit that link to change their response. Once an invitation card has been sent, its event details can’t be edited. Check the date, time and location before sending.
