Send CardClan Cards with Your AI Assistant | Robert Braxton
CardClan’s MCP integration lets compatible AI assistants find cards, send or schedule them, and report engagement using plain-language requests.
CardClan has announced an integration that connects its card-sending platform to compatible AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). According to the CardClan team, you can ask your assistant to find cards, send or schedule them, and report who opened them—all in plain language. Ask in plain language CardClan gives this example: “Send our Holiday Thanks card to these 40 clients on December 20 at 9am, then tell me on Friday who opened it.” What your assistant can do Find cards: Search by folder, status or name, and check which merge tags a card needs. Send or schedule: Send to up to 100 recipients at a time, including cards you have already sent. Track results: Review email opens, card views, reactions and comments. Stay organised: Create folders, move cards, and cancel or retry sends. You stay in control According to CardClan, before anything is sent, your assistant presents a preview showing the recipients, subject line, send time and how many recipients the send uses from your plan. Invalid email addresses and unsubscribed recipients are caught automatically. Actions are recorded in your settings so you can review what happened. Connect your assistant Open Settings → AI Assistants (MCP) in CardClan. Copy your API key and the setup snippet for your assistant. Use the setup instructions for a compatible assistant. CardClan’s announcement names Claude, Cursor and VS Code as setup examples. Keep your API key private. CardClan warns that anyone with the key can send cards from your account. Do not publish it or include it in shared screenshots.
